1. Prepare your make up by applying a concealer under your eyes.
A concealer hides any bluish vessels or any discoloration under your eyes. To cover dark circles under your eyes, place three dots of concealer under each eye, one dot at the inner corner, one at the centre underneath your pupil and one at the outer edge of your eye. Push lightly with your finger to blend the concealer until the concealer is matching with your skin. The ring finger should always be used when working with creams in your eyes, because this finger can not press too hard.
2. Apply a fixing eye cream that will keep your eyeshadow in place.
Without this your eyeshadow will likely fall into the thick lines on your eyelids.
3. Next, put on eyeliner.
Dark eyeshadows work well as eyeliner. Soak an angled brush and dip it into the dark eye shadow. Draw a line on the eyelid as close to the upper lashes as possible, from the inner corner to the outer corner. Follow with a line on the lower lash line, but only from the middle of the eye out. Erase the bottom line with a swab or a finger to not get a harsh line. For a more “smokey” makeup look, use a brush to pat a dark eyeshadow along the upper eyelid and the eye liner. Do the same thing along the lower lash line. You should not have sharp lines, you want more of a slight “smudged” look.
4. Now, How to Apply Eyeshadow
It is best to be a three-toned shadow, this creates a more dramatic effect. Let the shades blend into each other like a rainbow. Use one or two shades for a sophisticated look or combine all three shades for a more intense look. Let the color be lighter for the day and darker at night. Option A. Start with a light color, preferably a color that closely matches your eyelids. Sweep the color across the lid and up to your brow bone. Then follow up with the color over your eye lid and finish with the darker color in the crease. Blur the colors with a pointed applicator so that no lines are between the three shades. Option B. Divide the eye into three sections. Then use a round applicator for applying a light color to the eye, use the lightest color for the center of the lid and the darker color for the outer edge of your eye. Then use a pointed shaped applicator to blur the lines so that no lines are visible between the three shades. In order to create an intense look .Let the eyeshadow also continue down a little bit to the outer edge of the eye and down along the lash line or create an intense line of eyeliner along the lash. That is how to apply eyeshadow
5. Brighten up your eyes with a highlighter in the inner corner.
Press a finger in the light eyeshadow and then into the inner corner of the eye. A white or beige eyeshadow is recommended. 6. Highlight your forehead. Take the same bright eye shadow and press it on your brow bone, along the brow, then Erase with your finger. 7. Bend your lashes using an eyelash curler Gently bend your eyelashes with an eyelash curler but be careful not to break the lashes. In the past, they used spoons to bend the lashes.
8. Finish with applying mascara.
Apply by pulling the mascara up from the bottom of the lash to the top with the brush and wiggle back and forth. Repeat until desired look.
